"Crawfish Dipping Sauces"

Crawfish dipping sauces will definitely enhance the flavor of boiled crawfish. These four crawfish dipping sauces will provide you with a nice variety to serve at a crawfish boil. All of the sauces below can be easily prepared a few days before they are actually needed.

A dipping sauce can be as simple as melting butter and adding a few ingredients like garlic, onions and maybe a little hot sauce. The variations can be endless. If you decide to serve melted butter, make sure you have a hot plate available to keep it warm so it doesn't get cold by the time everyone is through eating their crawfish.

When it comes to key seasonings, everyone has their own idea on how it should taste. For this reason, the following recipes are provided in such a way that you can add additional amounts of various ingredients to your crawfish dipping sauces if you so desire.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix chili sauce, ketchup and horseradish together.

  • Blend Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice into mixture.

  • Blend red pepper into mixture.

  • If needed, add additional horseradish to taste.

  • If needed, add additional Worcestershire sauce to taste.

  • If needed, add additional lemon juice to taste.

  • Place in a covered container and refrigerate.

    Note: This Cocktail Sauce will last for several months in the refrigerator.

"Basic Crawfish Dipping Sauce"

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix mayonnaise and ketchup together.

  • If desired, add hot sauce to taste.

  • Place in a covered container and refrigerate.

    Note: This Dipping Sauce will last for several months in the refrigerator.
"Cajun Crawfish Dipping Sauce"

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix all ingredients together.

  • If needed, add additional horseradish to taste.

  • If needed, add additional hot sauce to taste.

  • Place in a covered container and refrigerate.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix mayonnaise and Creole mustard together.

  • Blend lemon juice into mixture.

  • Blend Cajun seasoning into mixture.

  • If needed, add additional lemon juice to taste.

  • If needed, add additional Cajun seasoning to taste.

  • Place in a covered container and refrigerate.

    Note: This Dipping Sauce will last for several months in the refrigerator.
